Hair Modelling

My best friend is a hairdresser and needed some shots for her portfolio and I also wanted some more variety so she modelled for me and we both decided of how we wanted her hair and make up etc. I edited the photos after and put most of them in black and white and wanted a high contrast. The set up wasn't great but I like them and I like the facial expressions to.

Echo State!

I was a photographer for a local band I knew and went to all there gigs and was there photographer. I posted links on there facebook page to the photos and was also able to add them to my portfolio. I really enjoyed doing this and it was always a great atmosphere the boys were great to work with!

Location Work

Here is some of my location work Ive done over the years. A few of these have gone into my portfolio to and some I've even sold copies of and they also went up in a cafe in Seaford.

Studio Shoot!

This is a studio shoot I did of a friend for some practice & portfolio work. I concentrated on Fashion and my ideas was based on if it was an advert for a fashion item i.e the jacket, the jeans etc. Thats another part of photography I have an high interest in. I also have a fashion portfolio and would love to do photography for fashion adverts. The studio shoot went well idea wise however the lighting wasn't as great as I had hoped e.g. the shadows which was a shame. I do prefer location work as a pose to studio just because I feel if I can pick the correct location for the shoot then I think I can really get the shots I want. And I always feel fashion on location is much more interesting.

I thought of my shots and the idea behind it I wanted something unusual but still very fashion based. At the end of my shoot I ended up with over 100 photos. I edited quite a few and do think I could design a fashion advert for my portfolio with a few of them.

In The Garden

A few photographs of a couple in the garden. I gave a blurred effect to the edges on some of these photography. I also made the colour warmer. This is the sort of work I'd love to do more of

Friston Forest

Here are some photography I took when I went for a long walk though Friston Forest. I edited some into black and want and wanted to get more contrast. I really enjoyed taking these as it was a great day and a very calm atmosphere.

Hello everyone!

I've decided to go private. I'm starting up my own business got a few contacts already. I'm going to concentrate on family portraits, children, pets, groups etc. I don't have my own studio I'm gonna go to friend's houses and do natural shot and location work. Then slowly build on from there.

Sittings are £25 (includes a free 10 x 8 print!)
